The mission of the Family Life Center is to provide essential support services to individuals and families to end Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence in Flagler County.
The Family Life Center is a private not-for-profit social service organization providing no-cost services to individuals and families experiencing Domestic or Sexual Violence. We are committed to meeting the needs of the community and recognizing the specific challenges faced by those in rural areas of Flagler County.
The Family Life Center strives to create an environment of safe and harmonious co-existence among families residing within its facility and throughout the Flagler County community, while providing an empowerment-based model of help that is self-directed by the survivor.
The Shelter Advocate provides direct services, referrals and support to primary and secondary survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking or sexual assault. The successful incumbent of this position provides comprehensive support services to include, but not limited to: intakes and departures, answering the crisis helpline , crisis intervention counseling, advocacy, education, support groups, basic needs assistance, and emotional support. Shelter Advocates may also assist in the provision of services in other Family Life Center programs. Must be available to work varying shifts, including evenings, over-nights, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts.

The Bookkeeper provides support to the Finance Director by posting and maintaining financial records including, but not limited to, accounts payables, accounts receivables and cash receipts, bank reconciliations, grant invoicing, payroll processing, budgeting and financial statement preparations. Also assists with general office management including but not limited to supply inventory management and scheduling of facilities and equipment maintenance.
Basic accounting knowledge, Quickbooks experience and Microsoft Excel experience required.

The Injunction for Protection Attorney will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities above are not an exhaustive list, other duties required as necessary for fulfillment of role.
Must be a Florida licensed attorney in good standing with no prior Florida Bar disciplinary proceedings that resulted in the imposition of any penalty.

The DV Child Welfare Advocate will serve as a consultant to the child welfare staff and community partners. The advocate will provide direct services, referrals and support to survivors involved in the child welfare system and follow-up as needed. Must be available to work varying shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts.
Will work closely with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and Community Partnership for Children (CPC) to support survivor safety and increase batterer accountability, reducing the number of children that are removed from
non-offending survivors of domestic violence

During Florida's re-opening plan, Family Life Center Outreach and Administrative offices are open 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. As always, Advocates are available 24 hours a day to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault via our Crisis Helpline. Also, at this time, Family Life Center is only accepting donations of UNOPENED paper products, cleaning supplies, diapers, formula, other food items and gift cards. Please call (386) 437-7747 to make drop-off arrangements for these items, or order from our Amazon needs list at https://a.co/g6YneUb to have the items delivered directly to us. We will update our donation policy and procedures as we move through the re-opening phases, keeping in-line with recommended safety guidelines.
